The VisBook housekeeping integration connects your VisBook PMS to Sweeply, so rooms, bookings, guest booking notes and extras feed housekeeping, maintenance and guest request workflows. VisBook remains your PMS for reservations and guest data, and Sweeply is the operational layer on top. It suits classic hotels as well as cabins, apartments and mixed destination properties.

What syncs between VisBook and Sweeply

• Rooms and bookings stay in sync with your housekeeping board.

• Guest booking notes from VisBook appear in Sweeply.

• Out-of-order rooms sync from VisBook.

• Products, such as minibar items, sync.

• Room categories sync, and you can use them when setting up cleaning rules.

VisBook has two housekeeping states, dirty and cleaned, while Sweeply tracks more detail, including in-progress and inspection states. Sweeply holds the detailed housekeeping progress and VisBook receives the simpler clean or dirty result. Out-of-order blocks and status changes can take a few minutes to appear.

• Housekeeping: Sweeply Housekeeping assigns tasks as VisBook room statuses change, so housekeepers see priorities on their phones and can start without waiting for printed lists. Housekeepers work from a mobile app in 30+ languages, and text written by colleagues is translated into each person's language.

• Maintenance: with Sweeply Maintenance, anyone on the team can report a defect from the room, add a photo and route it to the right person, so repairs are tracked rather than passed on by phone or on paper.

• Front desk and guest requests: the front desk sees live cleaning progress for every room, and Guest Connect lets guests send housekeeping service requests and report maintenance issues from their Guest Page, which arrive in Sweeply as tasks.

• AI agents: Sweeply AI Agents include Tracey, which reads reservation remarks and notes and routes them to tasks with 99.7% accuracy, and Roomey, which assigns rooms by trying 20,000 combinations. Our team will confirm which agent features apply to your VisBook setup.

How to connect VisBook to Sweeply

1. In VisBook, create a new user account used only for the Sweeply integration, with Admin permissions.

2. Note the username and password for that account.

3. Create your Sweeply account and enter the VisBook username and password.

4. Sweeply connects to VisBook and starts syncing your rooms and bookings.

A dedicated account matters because a personal login breaks the connection when that person's password changes or their access is removed.

Do I need to replace VisBook housekeeping?

No. Sweeply runs on top of VisBook, not instead of it. VisBook stays your PMS and system of record for reservations, and Sweeply adds the operational layer for housekeeping, maintenance and guest requests. VisBook continues to receive the clean or dirty result for each room.

How long does setup take?

On a supported PMS such as VisBook, rooms, reservations and room statuses are live in Sweeply within 24 hours of connecting. Training your team takes one to two days.

Why does Sweeply show more cleaning statuses than VisBook?

VisBook only distinguishes dirty and cleaned rooms. Sweeply adds intermediate states such as in progress and inspection, so expect more detail in Sweeply rather than an exact match.
