A guest opens the AeroGuest app, decides they do not need their room cleaned tomorrow, and taps. Does letting guests skip cleaning actually save anything?

Where guest-led housekeeping does not work
It needs both systems. The integration is available to properties running Sweeply and AeroGuest together. If you have one and not the other, this specific flow is not open to you yet, though Sweeply’s own guest page covers the same ground without AeroGuest.
Guests who do not use the app still need a route. Not everyone downloads a hotel app. Keep the QR code, the in-room card and the front desk as alternatives rather than assuming full adoption.
Brand and hygiene standards come first. Some brand standards, licensing regimes and long-stay hygiene policies require a minimum service interval. Check yours before you offer guests a free choice.
Short stays release little. The saving comes from stayover cleans. A property whose guests mostly stay one night has very few stayovers to skip, so the numbers above will not transfer.
A skipped clean is deferred, not cancelled. Rooms still need a departure clean, and periodic deeper cleaning has to be scheduled deliberately rather than assumed.
