Our latest updates are no exception. We’ve just rolled out Dynamic Issue Categories, Guest Connect, and Credits - three tools that solve everyday problems and help your teams work faster, smarter, and more fairly.
Here’s how each one works, and why it matters.
Dynamic issue categories: report smarter, fix faster
When something goes wrong in a hotel room, how quickly it gets fixed depends on how quickly the issue reaches the right person. Long descriptions, paper notes, or radio messages slow things down. That’s why we built Dynamic Issue Categories.
Instead of relying on vague notes or guesswork, teams can now report issues using custom dropdowns that route tasks directly to the relevant department.
How it works:
Set up custom fields like Department → Object → Problem to reflect your workflows
Report problems in just a few taps (e.g. Maintenance → Fan → Broken)
Assignments are automated, and visible to relevant team members
Issue data is clean, consistent, and ready to export
With fewer delays and less back-and-forth, your team can fix problems faster - and your guests feel the difference. Managers also benefit from more structured data and better oversight across shifts or sites.


Guest Connect: give guests control, ease the pressure on staff
Guests want fast, seamless service - but the front desk can only do so much. When your team is already juggling check-ins, check-outs, and calls, a flood of extra towel requests or room changes can cause delays.
That’s where Guest Connect comes in. It’s a mobile-friendly portal that lets guests make service requests, reschedule housekeeping, or report issues directly from their phone.
How it works:
Guests scan a QR code or click a booking-linked link
From there, they can: → Request amenities or services (like a minibar refill or extra pillows) → Skip or reschedule room cleaning → Report issues (like broken A/C or leaking taps)
Requests sync instantly with Sweeply’s backend, alerting staff in real time
The result is faster service and fewer interruptions. Your team gets to focus on what matters most - and your guests get more control over their stay.

Credits: fairer workloads, less burnout
When it comes to housekeeping, counting tasks doesn’t reflect real effort. Cleaning a suite takes longer than a single room. Some jobs are simple; others require more skill or time. Without a good system in place, workload assignments can feel unbalanced - and team morale suffers.
That’s why we created Credits. It’s a new way to assign value to tasks, based on complexity or effort - giving managers a smarter, more transparent way to manage workloads.
How it works:
Assign credit values to tasks depending on difficulty, time, or location
See total workload per person or area in real time
Reassign or adjust tasks on the fly to keep things fair
Use the data to plan future staffing more effectively
Credits give teams clarity and reduce friction around “who gets what.” Staff feel seen, managers stay in control, and operations run more smoothly.

Sweeply now supports multiple languages across both the web and mobile applications, enabling users to interact in their preferred language for a more seamless and efficient experience.
